Permits graduals increase in metabolic requirements (oxygen consumption), which will improve cardiovascular and aerobic performance.
Prevents the premature onset of lactic acid accumulation and fatigue in higher intensity aerobic activity.
Causes a gradual increase in muscle temperature, which decreases the work contraction and reduces the likelihood of muscle injury.
Facilitates neural transmission for motor unit recruitment.
Improves coronary blood flow in early stages of the conditioning exercise, lessening the potential for myocardial ischemia (oxygenated blood deprivation to tissue).

Gym Selection

Gym Selection

NEERAJ MEHTA FITNESS EXPERT
Tip: Get the Right Equipment

Don't choose a gym because the instructors are cute or it's five minutes from your house. When findign a gym, you want to make sure they have the equipment you like to use. If you like free weights, make sure the area is big enough for several people to work out. If you want weight machines, make sure that your gym selection has them for all muscle groups. Be sure they have more than one of your favorite cardio machines.

Tip: Long-Term Membership

Finding a gym is a decision where a problem with commitment is actually good. In general, it´s probably best not to choose a gym for more than a year or two. The gym may change or a better one may open closer to you. Be suspicious of "lifetime memberships" unless you think it´s a really good deal. Keep your gym selection options open.

Tip: Workout Clothes

Don't choose a gym where the staff tries to sell you pricey designer leotards. Inexpensive cotton workout clothing is acceptable in gyms, and more expensive gear doesn´t improve your workout. If the staff tries to convince you otherwise, choose a health club where the emphasis is on fitness.

Sports Drinks – the healthy way

Sports Drinks

Sports Drinks – the healthy way
Gatorade is thirst-aid! Many people prefer sports drinks to water because they taste better and it´s easier to drink them more often in a sports nutrition diet.
If the sports drink contains a small amount of carbohydrate, sodium, and potassium, the drink will effectively hydrate the person. The following facts are important to consider when using a sports drink for sports nutrition:

Sugar Damaging Effects

Too Much Sugar in the Diet : Damaging Effects
NEERAJ MEHTA

Sugar mainly in soft drinks, fast food and desserts has life threatening effects

Excessive sugar in diet not only make you gain weight, but can also negatively affect overall health. When consuming extra sugar, body does not immediately use for energy and can easily be converted to triglycerides, (its a type of fat) that can then be stored around your waist as well as in thighs and hips.

Sugary beverages, such as fruits juices (not fresh), soft drinks and fruit-flavoured punches, are the worst for your health because their liquid calories do not provide satisfaction and can even make you crave more

This sugar you consume eventually makes its way into your bloodstream, where it can increase your blood sugar levels. It can puts you at risk for developing type 2 diabetes and lot more health challenges.

Impaired Immune System

Your immune system is one of the most important defence mechanisms your body has against infections. Too much sugar eating can seriously weaker the ability of your immune system to fight different viruses and bacteria.

Eating sugar in every meal, means that your immune system will be functioning at half-capacity for most of the day.
